The Wells came away from Eden Park Avenue with a well deserved point but will be scratching their heads as to why it wasn't all 3pts given their dominance.
The Wells were awarded a penalty inside the opening 10mins when the ever dangerous looking Ryan Crandley was felled inside the Beckenham area.
Jason Barton's tame penalty was comfortably saved by Anidaba in the Becks goal.
The Wells style of play was better suited to the lush Eden Park playing surface but despite having more possession the Wells could not break the deadlock.
Wells keeper Steve Lawerence had another impressive performance keeping the Becks strikers at bay when they did apply pressure on the Wells goal.
The Wells will look to build on an encouraging performance when they host Steyning Town in the first round of this seasons Buildbase FA Vase on Saturday at the Culverden.
