Neither The Wells or Canterbury City could break each other's .resolve as they played out a stalemate at a wet Culverden stadium.
Canterbury had the best chance of the first half 5mins in when the returning Brad Potter misjudged his header but the City forwards couldn't punish the mistake and the Wells defence cleared.
Josh Biddlecombe was stretchered off mid way through the first half with a head injury.
Jason Barton was in inspired form at centre half.
