A thrilling opening game of this seasons FA Vase saw The Wells play out a 2-2 draw with hosts Sheppey Utd.
The Wells found themselves a goal down after 5mins after Luke Girt sublime 25yrd long range effort.
The Wells rallied after half time and added more urgency to their game and were rewarded with an equaliser when Kieron Tarbie's shot could only be parried by the Ites goalkeeper and Jack Harris found the net.
Sheppey took the lead again against the run of play when a harshly given penalty was awarded to the home side. Dan Bradshaw dispatching the spot kick past Chris Oladogba.
Steven Ita found the net for The Wells with 4mins of normal time remaining.
Despite having the best chances and Jonny Pilbeam almost snatching a win for The Wells late in extra time, both teams will play again on Tuesday evening at The Culverden.
