The Wells finally lifted the Gay Dawn Farm hoodoo by winning an enthralling league encounter 1-3.
The Wells could have been a goal up inside the first 2mins when Alexx Kendall whipped a ball into the Corinthian area only to see Jon Pilbeam blaze over the crossbar.
Josh Biddlecombe gave The Wells a deserved lead when his long range effort was misjudged by The Corinthian stopper on 16mins.
The Wells doubled their lead direct from a corner when again The Corinthian number one was found flapping and bundled the ball into his own net.
Chris McDermott pulled a goal back for the hosts before another own goal 5mins before the interval gave The Wells some breathing space.
Despite both sides hitting the woodwork in the 2nd half, and more heroics by Jack Bradshaw in The Wells goal. The score remained the same and The Wells deservedly left Gay Dawn Farm with 3pts.
The Wells remain in 18th but close the gap to 17th to just 1 point with 2 games in hand.
