The Wells still search for the elusive first home win in the league this season despite a galant performance against top of the table Beckenham Town.
A bright start from the visitors saw them awarded a penalty on 12mins which Richard Atkins converted passes debutant Wells keeper Callum Hampson.
Despite hitting the bar twice in the second half The Wells were unable to find an equaliser.
