Nick Davis has joined Tunbridge Wells. Davis stepped down as joint manager of Ryman League side Sittingbourne earlier this month. An experienced central defender, he also lists Maidstone United, Tonbridge and Ramsgate among his former clubs.
“Nick signed forms last night at training and we would like to welcome him to the club,” first team boss Martin Larkin told www.tunbridgewellsfc.com. “Nick brings a wealth of leadership and experience to the squad and we are excited to have him on board. It’s excellent news that he chose us, because as you can probably imagine he had quite a few offers!”
Among his achievements as a player, Davis has won the Ryman League (South) and has two Ryman League Cups, a London Senior Cup, two Kent Senior Cups and a Ryman Premier League play-off triumph to his name.
"Nick is the kind of guy who, when he commits he fully commits," Larkin added. "We met last week face-to-face and had a long chat and he was happy with my vision and I was happy he wanted to play a full season here. He trained last night and fitted straight in and will play on Saturday against Folkestone."
