The Wells claimed their first away win since 5th January with an excellent win at Sheppey Utd.
A dominant opening from The Wells was rewarded on 20mins when Jake Beecroft lofted a free kick into the Sheppey area where Perry Spackman was at hand to head to Michael Power who converted.
Sheppey were reduced to ten men at the beginning of the second half and conceded a second when Josh Biddlecombe’s cross was turned into the Sheppey net by the hapless Ites defender on 60mins.
Ian Batten gave The hosts a glimmer of hope when he converted his free kick on 75mins but there would be no equaliser as The Wells held firm for 3pts.
The win sees The Wells move to 34pts and are now mathematically safe from relegation.
Next up The Wells host Glebe on Tuesday evening.
Kick Off 7:45pm.
