The Wells go on their travels on Saturday to face relegated Croydon.
The Trams defeat away to Rusthall last Saturday confirmed that they’ll be playing in division one next season. They have gained just 8pts from 34 games and a playing record of 2 wins, 2 draws and 30 defeats has seen them rooted to bottom place.
Saturday’s defeat to Hollands & Blair was The Wells 20th defeat of the season and aside from relegated Croydon they now have the worst home record in the league with just 7pts from a possible 51pts. The Wells Away form reads slightly better with 8 wins and 3 draws coming from their travels.
One of The Wells three wins at The Culverden this season was against Croydon back in December. Perry Spackman, Jason Thompson, Chad Bryce-Borthwick and Josh Biddlecombe all scoring for The Wells in a 5-2 win.
Last seasons meeting at the Croydon Sports Arena saw The Wells edge a 5 goal thriller 2-3 thanks to goals from Tom Lawerence, Jarred Trespaderne and Jack Harris.
