The Wells return to The Culverden for their first competitive game of the new season on Saturday.
They welcome Pagham in the extra preliminary round of this seasons FA Cup.
Playing in the Southern Combination League, The Lions finished 11th last season after 38 games. Winning 11, drawing 12 and losing 15. They suffered defeat in their first league game of the new season, losing 2-0 away to AFC Uckfield Town last weekend.
Pagham made the second preliminary round of last seasons competition by beating K Sports in a replay 2-0 before bowing out 0-2 at home to Whitehawk.
The Wells buoyed by Saturday’s opening day league win away at Sheppey Utd will be looking to improve on last seasons efforts in the competition where they were knocked out in a preliminary round replay 2-3 by Croydon.
The two teams met back in 2013 at the same stage of the competition, The Wells won that day 4-2 thanks to goals from Josh Stanford, Jack Harris x2 and Hooley Cornell.
Kick Off 3pm.
