Jason Thompson made it 2-0 6mins later when he converted with aplomb from a Euan Sahadow cross.
Fjord Rogers added a third on 23mins to make it 3-0.
Dominic Ogun pulled a goal back for the Rams on 36mins.
The second half played out to a stalemate with Josh Biddlecombe going closest to adding for The Wells.
The win sees The Wells climb to fifth on 19pts from 10 games.
