With the new season upon us, and all possible preparation complete, the squad is all fit and excited to get started again! As always the Kent league is wide open with Greenwich Borough heavily investing, and a pick of probably another 4-5 others in the mix as serious title contenders. Getting a good start is going be key to ensuring a push for promotion.

Martin has, without doubt, put together a team of leaders and winners, and with a good blend of exciting youngsters, the back four has had a few adjustments that we will build a team upon.

It was good to see all pre-season friendlies well supported, and I'm sure the club will not sit back and settle without raising the attendances yet again this year.

On a personal note it's a big season for me, being my 11th at the club, and am told I have ten more appearance to break a long standing club record currently held by Tony Atkins (410). That would be an immensely proud moment for me and my family. I just hope to add the Kent League to that record so the club can move forward to where it belongs!
