The Wells dug in and earned a valuable 3pts away at K Sports.

K Sports were a big improvement on the side that lost 7-0 at The Culverden in September and rattled The Wells bar late in the first half however both defences were on top as the first half ended goalless.

The Wells took the lead through Fjord Rogers on 55mins when The Wells target man rifled home from Josh Froggatt’s cross.

Tom Woolridge went closest to equalising for the Paperboys but his long range effort was brilliantly saved by Simon Overland.

The win sees The Wells remain in 5th after 13 games on 28pts.

RICHARD STYLES REACTION - Big shift from @Tun_Wells_FC today, boys grafted, stood firm & deserved the 3 points. Love a clean sheet & a 1-0 win away from home Thanks to all @TWFCsupporters that made the journey, was great to see and hear you! On we move together.

Next up The Wells host Sheppey Utd in the SCEFL premier division next Saturday.

Kick Off 3pm.
