The Wells were well beaten on a blustery afternoon In Gravesend suffering a humbling 3-0 defeat away at Punjab Utd.
James Nurden offered the best opportunity for The Wells to go in front but saw his shot go just over the crossbar after his jinxing saw him run past 3 players.
Punjab took a surprise 1-0 lead into half time through Bryan Zepo strike on 39mins.
The Wells gave themselves a bigger mountain to climb when they conceded a penalty at the beginning of the 2nd half which Will Johnson-Cole duly converted.
Johnson-Cole added a 3rd for Punjab on 66mins to cap a miserable afternoon for Richard Styles’s men.
The Wells remain in 6th on 34pts.
RICHARD STYLES REACTION - @Tun_Wells_FC got what we deserved today, 2nd best for long periods. Apologies to all @TWFCsupporters for the performance, but once again your support is heavily appreciated. Heads up, focus, work hard and move on together.
