The opening league fixture of the season saw an entertaining A26 Derby. Despite lots of early pressure the Wells failed to capitalise and when the Crows broke against the run of play Steve Lawrence was lucky not to see red when he came out one on one and brought down Sam Carrington who converted the resulting penalty on 19mins The Wells faithful had to wait until the 83min when after a series of corners and pressure the Crow resolve was finally broken when Will Jagger bundled into his own net. Next up is the first home game of the season which sees A21 rivals Sevenoaks travel to the Culverden hoping to improve on an opening day 2-1 defeat to league new boys Hollands & Blair.
