Saturday we welcome Canterbury City to the Culverden for Non League day.
Non league day was set up for football fans of teams further up the football league pyramid to embrace their local non league clubs while their heroes from the teams they usually support are preparing for international duty.
City have had a resurgence in form this season under Joint Managers Ben Smith and Ada Gower and currently occupy 9th position in the league, sitting one point and place behind The Wells having played 3 games less.

Our under 16's put Cray Wanderes to the sword this morning with a ruthless attacking display winning 6-0.
They are now just a point behind leaders Tonbridge Angels having played a game less in the Kent youth league.

The Wells turn their attention to the SCEFL Challenge Cup Wednesday evening when they face Cray Valley Pm in the preliminary round of this years competition.
The Wells made the final in last years competition narrowly losing 2–1 to Greenwich Borough at Welling's Park View Road.
Cray Valley were knocked out of the competition at the preliminary stage last season by the Wells with Harry Smith scoring the only goal.

Wells manager Keith Bird will look for a positive response from his side after last Saturday's home defeat against Lordswood.
Erith and Belvedere will be looking to continue their run having now gone three games unbeaten since they lost to Lordswood.
