It is with sadness that the board of Tunbridge Wells Football Club have tonight accepted John's resignation which is effective immediately. As many of you will know John has worked tirelessly for the Club, the Board wishes to place on record it's thanks and gratitude for all that John has done over the years. We wish him every success for the future and trust that he will now have to more time to tend to his garden which we know he enjoys so much.

Saturday we welcome Beckenham Town to the Culverden for the first round of this years Kent Reliance Senior Trophy.
Both sides have won the competition in recent years, The Wells lifted the trophy back in the 2012/13 season beating Lordswood 2-0 in the final.
Beckenham won the competition the following year beating Ashford 4-0.
Neither side were entered in the competition last season.
Beckenham are unbeaten in their last 5 league outings so The Wells will need to improve on their last performance to progress to the next round.

It hasn't all been doom and gloom this weekend with our U15's and U16's teams both winning.
Our U15's returned to winning ways beating Bredhurst U15's away 3-1 in the league cup.
The U16's continued their unbeaten start to the season when they beat Erith & Belvedere away 4-1. They move to within a point of league leaders Tonbridge Angels
having played a game less.
Well done everyone involved.
