Ryan Crandley had the chance to pull a goal back on 66mins from the penalty spot but his shot was well saved by former Wells keeper Ryan Chandler.
Lordswood sealed a deserved victory 3mins from full time when David Smith netted.

The Wells beat Crockenhill 3-0 at The Culverden in the last round with goals from Ollie Bankole, Brad Large and Tom Bryant.

The Millers scored a last minute winner to beat Hollands and Blair in the previous round 3-2.

The Wells were dumped out of the SCEFL challenge cup by SCEFL div 1 outfit Holmesdale.
Josh Biddlecombe scored to give The Wells a 1-0 lead.
Holmesdale equalised in the second half to send the tie into extra time.
Holmesdale then scored two more to send The Wells crashing out.
The Wells return to cup action on Sunday when the travel to Eltham to take on Cray Valley in the Kent Senior Trophy.

The Wells travel to Oakley Road Tuesday evening to face Holmesdale in the second round of the SCEFL challenge cup.
Holmesdale were relegated to SCEFL division one last season having finished bottom of the premier division and sit 8th in their league having won 7 drawing 4 and losing 5.
They beat Meridian 1-0 in the previous round.

The Wells moved up to 14th in the league with another decent win at The Culverden.
Deal deservedly went into the half time break 1-0 up through Joe Anderson who netted on 17mins.
Luke Hackett equalised 5mins into the second half and then netted the winner with 13mins remaining.
