The Wells made it 6 games unbeaten with a deserved point to title challengers Cray Valley PM.

A soggy afternoon at The Culverden saw The Wells take the lead on the stroke of half time when captain Perry Spackman headed home a Ola Williams cross.

The Millers Anthony Edgar equalised for the visitors 3mins in to the second half.

Despite both sides having chances, neither could convert and the points were shared.

Next up The Wells travel to Lordswood next Saturday.

The Wells got their first win at The Culverden since last April with a 5-2 win against Basement side Croydon.

Captain Perry Spackman gave The Wells the lead after 3mins when he headed home from Jake Beecroft’s corner.

Tre Daley levelled for the visitors when he curled in a low shot past Calum Hampson on 20mins.

The sides remained level for just a minute when The Wells regained the lead thanks to a thunderous Jason Thompson free kick.

Chad Bryce-Borhwick extended the lead for The Wells when his thunderous effort found the net on 30mins.

Having played six straight away games, The Wells return to The Culverden on Saturday afternoon to host basement side Croydon.

The Trams languish at the bottom of the league having endured a torrid campaign. Their record after 14 games consists of 1 win and 13 defeats. They sit just 2pts below fellow strugglers Rusthall with two games in hand on the Rustics.

FC Elmsted 2-3 The Wells ( KST Rnd 2 )

The Wells progressed to the quarter final stage of this seasons Senior Trophy by beating FC Elmsted 3-2.

After a goalless first half FC Elmsted opened the scoring when Joe Hart converted on 51mins.

The hosts lead was to be short lived when Steph Harper equalised for The Wells one minute later.

Jason Thompson 57mins and Chad Bryce-Borthwick 66mins added for The Wells until Alvin Turytemba pulled a goal back for Elmsted.

The Wells will now host St Peter of Jersey at The Culverden in the quarter final.

The Wells return to Kent Senior Trophy action on Tuesday evening when they travel to SCEFL Division One side FC Elmsted for the rearranged second round fixture of this seasons competition.

The Cocks have made their way to the second round thanks to a 1-3 first round away win against division one rivals Stansfeld.

The Wells secured their second round place thanks to a 3-0 win at home against AFC Croydon Athletic.

The Wells continue their march up the table with an excellent 1-3 away win at high flying Deal Town.

Jamie Thompson gave The Wells a 25th minute lead only for Deal to equalise 5mins later through Alfie Foster.

Lewis Mingle restored The Wells lead on 36mins.

Jamie Humphries bagged The Wells third from the penalty spot on 70mins.

The win sees The Wells continue to climb the table and move up to 16th on 13pts.
